Francis Oganya
CEO & FOUNDER
Leads Certus' strategy, investor relationships, asset-owner engagement, and capital-enablement model.
Africa holds world-class energy resources. Certus helps close the gap by preparing promising assets in a way institutional capital can assess, trust, and finance

Certus was created to close that gap- bringing together operating experience, investment preparation, and technical assurance to help energy opportunities move from potential to credible capital engagement.
To see more African energy opportunities become investable, fundable, and capable of creating long- term value for asset owners, capital providers and the communities they serve.
Certus is led by Francis Oganya and supported by NexPro Energy's specialist technical assurance bench.

Certus is shaped by Francis Oganya's decades of operating and leadership experience in African energy, including his leadership of Baker Hughes' Nigeria business and broader West African experience.
Across that experience, he saw that strong assets often needed more than potential to become fundable. They needed clearer framing, stronger investment readiness, and capital structured around performance. That insight became the foundation for Certus.
"Energy assets don't just need capital, they need capital structured around performance."
NexPro supports Certus with specialist technical assurance across wells, reservoir, production, completions, digital systems, and asset development.
NexPro does not replace the asset owner, operator, or service companies. It provides an independent technical assurance layer that helps support better diligence, development review, performance visibility, and investor reporting behind the Certus platform.
